RAPS is currently seeking 24 current RAC holders (12 specializing in devices/IVDs and 12 with pharmaceutical, medicinal, API, biologics or biotechnology experience) to serve as RAC Cut Score panelists.
The
RAC Drugs and
RAC Devices exams each require a cut-score panel (one panel for each exam) to review the exams and assess the difficulty of the exam questions. This process will help determine the pass mark for the first run of these new RAC exams. Panels will be led through this process by the RAC program's psychometrician. Each panel will meet for one day (Drugs on Tuesday, 7 May, and Devices on Wednesday, 8 May) in Morrisville, North Carolina (near Raleigh-Durham International Airport) to complete the process. Working on the panel will require one night of overnight travel to North Carolina. The RAC program will cover expenses associated with food and beverage, travel and accommodations.
RAC policy states that approved panel members may work on either the device panel or the drug panel, but may not work on both.
RAPS will be accepting applications until
Friday, 29 March. Those selected to participate will be contacted with instructions for making travel arrangements no later than Friday, 12 April.
