Charge:
As RAPS works to be the face of the global regulatory workforce the RAPS Awards Program will support the mission in celebrating organizations and individuals that drive good regulatory practice and policy while advancing public health. The Awards Committee will provide the resources and expertise to select recipients whose exemplary contributions deserve recognition.
Composition:
The committee will be composed of a diverse group of experienced regulatory professionals who are familiar with RAPS and the profession. Two seats will be designated for RAPS Fellows.
Length of Service:
Committee members will serve an initial two-year term with the possibility of a single reappointment. Committee members will be requested to communicate their intent for reappointment prior to the end of their first term.
Work Approach:
Regular conference calls will provide the opportunity to define criteria, gather nominations, discuss applications, and make final awards selections. The frequency of the calls will be dependent on the time of the awards cycle. The committee will meet annually at Convergence.
