In Canada, Section C.01.044 of the regulations (Food & Drugs Act) prohibits direct-to-consumer (DTC) prescription drug advertising beyond the drug's name, price and quantity. So since social media (e.g. facebook..) is open to the public, it would not be feasible to host a chat room about a cancer drug ...
